UK based Courier Logistics recently pulled out all the stops for a request for an urgent collection from West Bar Police station in Sheffield.It resulted in a journey that couldn't end quick enough for our Rotherham based courier Ray Armsby. A rather large spider had been found in a box of grapes which had been handed in to the South Yorkshire police. Our task was to discreetly transport it to the RSPCA labs in London for analysis to identify the species. They knew Courier Logistics would provide them with a quick and professional service. When Ray arrived for the collection, he was told not to worry as it was packed securely. In actual fact it was in a Tupperware box with some brown tape holding it together with a few grapes inside for the spider to eat. Not the normal courier package we take! Ray said, "I kept the box on the front seat next to me as I was afraid I wouldn't notice if it managed to get out in the back - it seemed like the longest journey I had ever been on." |
